New York City is known around the world for its excellent culinary scene. What I didn’t know is that restaurants are VERY accommodating when it comes to allergies, intolerances, and preferences. I am not vegan; but my severe dairy intolerance makes eating vegan the safest option when I go out. Below you will find my favorite vegan restaurants in NYC!
Candle 79
Candle 79 is hands down one of the best vegan restaurants in NYC. The inventive dishes combine traditional meals with a veggie based twist and they are to die for! They serve the “Beyond Burger” and some Seitan dishes; as well as hand cut pasta, creative veggie entrees and unbelievable deserts. Seriously.. you have to check this place out!
