San Francisco is a city full of character, color, and of course great food! With restaurants lining almost every street it can be overwhelming trying to choose where to eat. Keep reading for a list of my favorite places to eat in San Francisco!
Nob Hill Café
This authentic Italian restaurant has been one of the staple places to eat in Little Italy, San Francisco for nearly 20 years! Serving a variety of fantastic pasta, meat, and seafood dishes, Nob Hill Café will not disappoint.


Our Recommendations: Spaghetti Alla Carbonara, Melanzane Alla Parmigiana, and the Veal Cutlets.
Sweet Maple
A trendy little spot featuring bottomless mimosas and their world-famous Millionaire’s Bacon. Sweet Maple is one of the best places to eat in San Francisco for a fantastic local brunch!


Our Recommendations: Deep Fried French Toast, Eggs Benedict, Millionaires Bacon, and the Chicken Rancheros
Tacolicious
A SF chain featuring excellent Mexican food and a trendy atmosphere. Tacolicious is one of the best places to come for creative tacos and fantastic drinks.


Our Recommendations: Guacamole, Mushroom Carnitas Tacos, Chicken Tinga Tacos, and the Traditional Carnitas
Boudin Bakery
You can`t visit San Francisco without trying sourdough from Boudin Bakery. The dough is made from the same mother dough that was cultivated in the 1800`s! The traditional order is Clam Chowder in a sourdough bread bowl, but you can also get tomato soup or chili and a variety of sandwiches and other meals!


Our Recommendations: Sourdough Bead Bowl with Clam Chowder and the Turkey Avocado Sandwich
Tony`s Neapolitan Pizza
Owned by the first American to win the World Champion Pizza Maker title; this place is a must-visit. The extensive menu includes all types of pizza making it easy to find something for everyone. They don`t take reservations so get there early and put your name on the list!


Our Recommendations: Burratina di Margherita, Pizza Porto, and the Classic Pepperoni
Burma Love
Burma Love was one of my absolute favorite places to eat in San Francisco. This hidden gem serves authentic Burmese food and guess what… it`s to die for!


Our Recommendations: Burmese Samusas, Garlic Noodles, Burmese Curries and the Minced Chicken with Mint.
Brenda`s French Soul Food
Brenda`s is a neat little place offering a French spin on comfort food. Stop by for breakfast, lunch or dinner and enjoy the mouth-watering food and the industrial decor.


Our Recommendations: Eggs Benny, French Toast, Sweet Potato Dumplings and Chocolate Beignets
Flour + Water (and Flour + Water Pizzeria)
Serves a daily changing menu of house-made pasta and wood-fired pizzas. These restaurants are ALWAYS busy; so make sure to come early or call ahead for reservations.


Our Recommendations: Ask your server what they recommend off the menu of the day!
Gracias Madre
A Mexican restaurant serving a menu made of completely organic, plant based food. The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is relaxing and the food is to die for!


Our Recommendations: Cauliflower Wings, the Bowl Uno and the Jackfruit Carnitas Tacos
Project Juice
Project Juice is a great place to grab a healthy breakfast or a quick snack in San Francisco! They serve a variety of juice, smoothies, yogurt bowls, toast and more.


Our Recommendations: Sourdough Avocado Toast, The Oatmeal and ALL of the smoothies!
