The Kauai Beach Resort is a beautiful oceanfront property boasting a stunning layout and excellent customer service. Whether you want to relax at one of the multiple pool areas, watch the sunrise on the beach, or be close to all things adventure in Kauai; this is the perfect place to do it!
The Location
The Kauai Beach Resort is located just 5 minutes from the Lihue Airport in Kauai. For those of you who’ve never been, you might be interested to know that you actually can’t drive a complete circle around the island. This means that the main Kauai highway is a horseshoe-shaped road leaving the northwest section (the Na Pali Coast) only accessible by boat.
Because The Kauai Beach Resort is located pretty much smack dab in the middle of this road, it’s an ideal place to set up a home base during your trip! From here, you can pretty much access the entire island in 1 hour or less which gives you more time for activities and, of course, soaking up the sunshine!
The Property
This stunning property includes 4 pools, 2 hot tubs, a gorgeous stretch of beach, and a whole lot of space to sprawl out and relax. The pool areas are surrounded by a unique landscape which includes waterfalls, beach bars and lounges scattered throughout. One of the pools even has a water slide and a sand bottom making it perfect for small children (or your inner child!)
The rooms are inviting, well decorated, and offer views of the ocean and pool area. Our big comfy king sized bed was especially enjoyable after camping and backpacking for a week prior to our stay.
In addition; the Kauai Beach Resort offers a free airport shuttle, car rentals available on site and a 24 hour fitness center which we loved! Those small details can make such a big difference during your trip.
The Food
Housing 2 full restaurants and a beach bar, Kauai Beach Resort has plenty of options to meet all dining needs. The breakfast buffet was one of our favourite meals at the property which included an omelet station, a dessert station, as well as tons of local and continental options. Do yourself a favour and build a waffle with coconut syrup, whipped cream cheese and fresh fruit… you can thank me later ;).
Both dining rooms are stylish and comfortable and the wait staff was excellent! The food was always fast, fresh and fantastic! Their beach bar offers a more casual option for lunch or snacks throughout the day. The menu features nachos, burgers & wraps, salads, and traditional plates along with creative cocktails. On top of that, you can enjoy shaved ice (a Hawaiian must try) by the pool daily!
The Staff
The staff at Kauai Beach Resort were exceptionally friendly and worked very hard to ensure we enjoy our stay. From check- in to check-out we were blown away by the amount of times we witnessed them going above and beyond for their guests!
